This form is to be used by organisations or individuals seeking to dispose of contaminated, or potentially contaminated waste at the Kununurra Waste Disposal Facility.
Please ensure you have the required evidence listed below, before submitting the form:
Samples of the waste material must be taken in accordance with Pages 18 to 22 of the Landfill Waste Classification and Waste Definitions 1996 (As amended December 2009).
Samples should be analysed for the concentration of contaminants detailed in the Table 3 of the Landfill Waste Classification and Waste Definitions 1996 (As amended December 2009). All analysis should be undertaken by a NATA accredited laboratory. The average concentration and standard deviation of all samples should be entered into the table below.
If the Applicant believes a contaminant listed in Table 3 is not relevant to the waste type, they should contact the Shire to discuss analysis requirements.

1) The Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley reserves the right to deny any load of waste from being received at the Kununurra Waste Disposal Facility.2) The Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley may make information provided with this application available to third party organisation if specialist expertise and advice is required for the waste classification process. The third party organisation shall be required to treat the information confidentially.
