- Council meeting dates are held as per the table below.
- Council meetings commence at 5.00pm.
- Meetings are held at either Kununurra Council Chambers or Wyndham Council Chambers (WYN after the meeting date identifies Wyndham meetings).
- Members of the public are welcome to attend Council meetings as observers or to comment on matters before the meeting.
- When confidential information needs to be considered, parts of the meeting may be closed to the public.
- Any amendment to the date of a Council Meeting will be advertised on the Shire's website, social media and via public noticeboards.

Wyndham Meet and Greet
An open forum for the Wyndham Community to discuss matters affecting their community and have an informal discussion with Councillors and the Shire's Executive Management Team.
The Wyndham Meet and Greet commences at 4pm for 1 hour prior to the commencment of the Ordinary Council Meeting (refer to the above Council Meetings section for meetings dates).
PLEASE NOTE: As part of the Local Government Act 1995 reform, our Shire will transition to live streaming of Council meetings part way through 2024. After the transition to live streaming, all Ordinary Council Meetings shall being held in Kununurra.

Public question time
Public Question Time is at the commencement of each meeting where members of the public can ask questions of the Council. This time is available only for asking questions, and not statements or preamble.
All questions are to be in writing with the name and address and submitted to the Shire President prior to the meeting commencing, the Public Question Time Form is available online HERE or in paper form at the administration office, this form is also available at the sign in desk at each Council meeting.
Complex questions that may require research and should be submitted as early as possible in order to allow sufficient time to prepare a response.
When presenting your question please stand up at the lecturn to the front left of the gallery, state your name and address, and proceed to ask your question/s relevant to any item on the agenda.
If questions cannot be answered during the meeting, the Council will take the question on notice and will respond at a later date. The response to the question will also be included in the agenda and minutes of the next Ordinary Council Meeting.
Disturbing meetings
No person shall interrupt, disturb, or disrupt any meeting of the Council.
Upon direction of the Presiding Officer, any such person shall leave the Council Chambers and the Shire Building.
