Travis and Nicole Floyd are selling their property on Weaber Plains Road, which has been home to a Boab Nursery for the past 9 years. The well-liked family have lived in Kununurra for the past 23 years, but have decided to move on from the farm.
In doing this, they have generously gifted the Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley with 2,000 Boab Trees, varying in size from half a metre to 3 metres.
The Shire have accepted this incredible gift and are working on plans to distribute these iconic trees throughout the towns of Kununurra and Wyndham.
President David Menzel thanked Travis today, whilst contractors worked in the background, excavating trees.
The Shire would like to sincerely thank the Floyd family for this considerable gift and wish them all the very best for their future.
