Council has endorsed a new policy regarding Shire Tree Removal. The policy provides direction to Shire Operations and ratepayers on the removal of Street Trees on the road verge, reserves or parks and gardens.
The purpose of the policy is to protect and preserve Shire-owned trees and provide rules to determine under what circumstances a tree may be moved or pruned.
