We’re thrilled to announce that @Leisure Planner has been appointed to develop a new Recreation and Events Strategy! This plan will help guide future investments and upgrades for our Shire-managed sporting facilities, aiming to enhance both recreation and event spaces. The Draft Strategy will be ready by the end of September.
Leisure Planner will start engaging with key stakeholders next week from August 11 – 16.

- Completing the online survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/sweksurvey
- Sending your thoughts to mail@swek.gov.au, with the subject “Recreation Strategy” or dropping them in the Shire’s Kununurra or Wyndham offices
- Providing comment about facilities needed or suggested improvements on Council’s Your Say page.
