This week, staff from the Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley and the Kununurra School & Community Library travelled to Kalumburu Remote Community School to deliver the Kimberley Digital Discovery Program, funded by Telstra’s Connected Communities Grant Program.
Over five interactive sessions tailored to different age groups, students explored digital technology in a fun and engaging way. The program introduced them to new skills and hands-on learning experiences, sparking creativity and curiosity.
“The kids absolutely loved it,” said teacher Colleen Chambers. “I’ve never seen the kids so engaged in an activity.”
